The problem
You found an offer that pays $150 a sale. Ads cost $1.50 a click. How many clicks must one sale pay for, and when do you stop if no sale comes?
Chapter 2
Chapter 2 starts with that arithmetic. In the book's illustrative example, 100 clicks at $1.50 cost $150: one sale per 100 clicks only breaks even. The stop rule: pause new spending at twice that, 200 clicks, then wait for late sales.
Without a cap, a test has no end. Money keeps leaving "just in case", and pending commission looks like income until it's reversed.
No income promise: first tests often lose money, and ad spend can be lost. Not financial advice.
